Dear All,

Following completion of the ECASBA survey on customs cooperation agreements sent on 16^th September (thank you to those members that responded), the next survey supporting ECASBA’s customs action plan looks at the advantages and benefits of ship agents under the EU Authorised Economic Operator programme. This topic has been discussed on several occasions and in many cases it has been reported that the facilitations available are very similar to, or less than, those already available to authorised consignors and other schemes available in individual member countries, hence the lack of take up there. This survey provides an opportunity to compile a comprehensive list of the benefits available across the membership and to gauge the level of engagement across ECASBA member associations.

 As usual, the closing date is in two weeks, on Thursday 15^th October and as always, please send your completed forms (attached) to Victoria at: admin@fonasba.com
