With thanks to our colleague Patrick Verhoeven, Managing Director of the
International Association of Ports and Harbours, reading in copy, we have
pleasure in attaching the Association’s first six-monthly summary of the impact
of COVID-19 on the international port sector. As well as analysing the direct
impact of COVID-19 on ports, this detailed study includes a wealth of detail on
its effects on the maritime transport and allied sectors such as inland
transport, warehousing, employment and investments.
