Dear All,
Despite a very short timeframe for registering students, the first edition of the above course, launched in September last year, attracted 45 entries, which was an excellent start to this new initiative. Indeed, the support shown by FONASBA members was so enthusiastic that ACB, the Barcelona Ship Agents’ Association and hosts of the course, have now decided not to wait for the next planned course (due in September 2022) but instead to run another edition, starting on 31st March and running through to 26th June. The closing date for registrations for this course is Wednesday, 23rd March.
Full details of the course are provided in the attachment, which this year combines both the flyer and the course booklet in one file, please circulate it amongst your member companies. As with the last course, registration is done by the companies directly with ACB (acb@consignatarios.com) with copy to this office (admin@fonasba.com). Also making a welcome return is the agreement to share the commissions earned by FONASBA for this course with the host association so again there is an incentive to promote it enthusiastically amongst your members. One association earned a commission of €850 from the last course, which will no doubt be a welcome addition to their finances!
So, we invite you to circulate the attached information amongst your members and encourage them to register students for the course.
